This district really is classified as part of the Downtown Warehouse district.  However, we feel that the stretch between Congress and Guadalupe Streets needs to stand alone.  While most call this the 4th Street District, it also could extend north to West 5th Street as well.  It houses some of the best restaurants, bars and clubs of the city and features the post-college crowd in a more laid-back environment.

Austin does not have a tried a true LGBT district, but 4th Street does have a few fun clubs and bars that cater to the community.
