Odd Duck

Address:

The trailer that brought Chef Bryce Gilmore to the forefront, known for making farm fresh cuisine accessible to the masses, is now open on a grander scale after the lot it once sat on was redeveloped into Gibson Flats.

Gilmore and partners, Sam Hellman-Mass, Jason James, Mark Buley and Dylan Gilmore created this 110-seat restaurant with an outdoor patio that overlooks the corner of Gibson and South Lamar with views of downtown Austin. Menu offerings feature local, seasonal fare prepared on the restaurant’s wood fired grill and oven as well as an extensive in-house bread program. Odd Duck offers an approachable, yet finely curated wine and beer list and a full bar. Like the food, the cocktails have a seasonal Texas influence.
