In 2011, four Austin friends decided to put their former degenerate years to good use and open a bar we would be proud to share. Javelina takes its cues from their favorite places in Texas: neighborhood ice houses, hill country beer joints and historic dance halls. They added some family recipes and ranch weekend ingenuity to their food and drink menu to round out a good time.
