The Cathedral of Junk sits in the backyard of Vince Hanneman. You might want to give him a call before stopping by his house to view what he’s been working on since 1988. He isn’t open everyday and doesn’t have set hours. Hanneman estimates that his backyard is filled with about 60 tons of junk that he has artfully constructed into a Cathedral of sorts. Some of the junk has been surprisingly brought to him and added if it fits in to his creation. The Cathedral contains three different levels of junk and, yes, you can climb it.

Back in 2010, people attempted to get the place shut down. However, Hanneman and volunteers worked hard and received a permit to keep the magic alive. Remember to bring your $10 admission fee per party.
